Oscar-winning Actor Eddie Redmayne Expecting First Child With Wife Hannah Bagshawe

Eddie Redmayne and his wife Hannah Bagshawe are expecting their first child together. The Oscar-winning actor and his wife have not yet confirmed the baby news publicly, but have reportedly told close friends and family members they are having a baby.

Redmayne and his publicist wife Bagshawe's first child is reportedly due to arrive in June 2016, according to The Sun.

Redmayne and Bagshawe recently celebrated their first anniversary on December 15.

The couple, who are both 33-years-old, are reportedly "extremely excited" about having a baby.

A source told The Sun, "They don't want to find out the sex of the baby but are happy to tell close friends and family they are expecting."

The couple married in an intimate ceremony on December 15, 2014 in Somerset, England.

The Oscar-winner discussed his crazy year in an interview with People earlier this week.

Redmayne said, "It's been extraordinary. It's been the most wonderful whirlwind."

He gushed over his wife Hannah, stating, "I think saint might be the word. She is an absolute saint. And it's a ride for both of us. It's wonderful doing it with someone you love because you also have a second eye on it all.

"This whole industry is the most joyous, absurd circus. It's great to have someone when you get too immersed in it or drinking the Kool-Aid to say, 'Wait a second'?"

Redmayne has had a huge year career-wise as well, winning his first Oscar for his portrayal of Stephen Hawking in the movie The Theory of Everything.

Redmayne can be seen next in the movie The Danish Girl, where he plays the role of a transgender woman and pioneer. The movie will reportedly be released in theaters on Christmas Day. The movie also earned him a 2016 Golden Globe nomination.
