Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton Looks Stunning for Christmas in a $1,232 Coat
Royal watchers have been paying attention to the fashion attire that the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton has been wearing each and every Christmas season and now, her looks are are finally paying off! US Weekly reports that this year, for the traditional Christmas morning church service at St. Magdalene Church in Norfolk, the 33-year-old wore a hunter green wool coat priced at $1,232 by Sportmax, with an acorn brooch on her lapel. She paired it with a fascinator hat and black knee high boots. The most important accessory was husband, Prince William. The couple looked very chic together!
According to People magazine, the princess wore a pink cezanne paintbox pleated dress by Great Plains, which was worn by her in the past. Her knack for style and fashion was first noticed during the 2011 Christmas with the Royals. She wore a "festive berry ensemble" in a "knee length coat," and a matching hat by royal milliner, Jane Corbett. In 2012, when William and Kate were pregnant with their first-born child, the couple spent their Christmas morning with the Middleton family in Berkshire at St. Mark's Church. The soon-to-be mom wore a chestnut brown belted wool Hobbs "Celeste" coat with a red scarf which seemed very non-formal, a different experience than what her prince may have been used to. This was probably the last year that she had the chance to join her own family before she was entrusted with the duty of having an heir be in attendance with the rest of her husbands family.
A year later, she became more "fashion forward" in a beautiful "tartan Alexander McQueen dress coat" with a green Gina Foster designed "hard shell beret hat." But last year, she may have impressed everyone in a brown and cream military style tweed coat, "finished off her fashionable look with a brown suede bow hat by Lock & Co."
Perhaps the Duchess of Cambridge has set the tone for the past four years as the most fashionable royal from Great Britain. Happy holiday!
