'Celebrity Apprentice' 2013, Season 13 Recap: La Toya Jackson, Omarosa Get Personal Over Michael Clarke Duncan's Death, 'All-Star' March 17 Episode 3 Review
In case you haven't seen promos on NBC for the latest season of "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice" the network is clearly promoting this show as a train wreck. However, it's a must see train wreck featuring the likes of Gary Busey, Trace Adkins, Omarosa, and others. Leading these pack of C-list celebrities once again is Donald Trump himself. Sunday night's March 17 episode was no different with things heating up between La Toya Jackson and Omarosa.
Following last weeks episode where Omarosa cried and Dee Snider was sent home, Trump is putting "Team Power" and "Team Plan B" back to work. The teams' new task was to create a five minute soap opera for Crystal Light with the help of either Susan Lucci or Jack Wagner. Nice, two more C-list celebrities to help out.
Jackson is the team manager for "Team Power" while Stephen Baldwin is playing for the $50,000 prize for his charity as the manager of "Team Plan B." There was a power struggle between Jackson and Omarosa. Wow, what a surprise! Omarosa wanted to do a "Housewives" theme, but the team ended up going with a game where audience members would drink their Crystal Light every time a sound effect was played during the soap opera performance.
Omarosa was providing her usual drama as the stage manager and finally Jackson had enough. In what was at the very least a low blow and maybe a bit too far, Jackson said, "Omarosa is the most evil person I have ever met. She's a no good, conniving scheming, cut-throat, probably pulled the cord on Michael Duncan Clarke."
"Team Plan B" went with the cheesey romantic theme for their soap opera. They used country singer Trace Adkins as the main actor. Adkins ended up making out with Susan Lucci, in what I'm sure will be a scene no one will ever be able to forget.
In the end "Team Plan B" and Stephen Baldwin won the task, sending Jackson, Omarosa and "Team Power" to face Trump in the boardroom. A side story in this whole episode was that Omarosa's dead fiance's (actor Michael Clarke Duncan) 911 tapes were going to be made public, so Omarosa was distracted with her real life drama.
In a bit of a swerve, Jackson didn't bring Omarosa back to the boardroom with her, instead choosing Dennis Rodman and Brande Roderick back with her. Rodman and Roderick both did nothing wrong, so this must of been Jackson's way of getting her self fired. It worked and Trump sent Jackson packing as the the latest celebrity fired on "Celebrity Apprentice."
