Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster might have had a rough go of it over the last couple of years, including her constant battle with Lyme Disease, and her recent divorce from David Foster, but it just so happens that she is crediting her soon-to-be ex-husband with saving her life. The 51-year-old reality star has been at the center of a lot of the storylines this past season of RHOBH, as some of those on the cast aren't so sure that she is telling the truth about her illness. However, despite all this, the star is maintaining a positive attitude and is facing season 6 with an open mind.

According to Us Weekly, while David and Yolanda filed for divorce earlier this year it is being reported that she has nothing but love for her husband, as she gives him credit for getting her the help she needed to live a healthier life.

"Last June, David woke up one morning and said, 'We are not doing any more treatments until you get a full body scan,'" the star explained in her Bravo blog. "That scan probably saved my life, as doctors found free-floating silicone under my left arm pit, under my right clavicle bone, and under my rib cage."

"None of these findings changed my late stage Lyme disease diagnosis, but it was a good explanation of why three years of hard work had not paid off yet," the star continued. "It was a big breakthrough in my case at a time that I was just existing. At that point I honestly was not sure how and if I was going to pull through."

David also echoed the respect that he has for his former wife, as he released a statement regarding all her co-stars not believing her illness.

"I have always had and continue to have the utmost respect and love for Yolanda," the musician explained, according to ET Online. "Which is why it is so frustrating to see headlines questioning her chronic debilitating illness. I have been by Yolanda's side over the past four years to the best of my ability as she battled with the complexities of Lyme disease."
