Nicki Minaj Visits Lil Wayne at Hospital: 'Super Bass' Singer Brings Balloons, 'American Idol' Season 12 Feud With Mariah Carey Still Going On? [VIDEO]
Nicki Minaj is one of music's busiest artists. The "Starships" singer is a judge on "American Idol" and also is constantly making news for the latest photos of her that have been posted on her Twitter account or the Internet. However, Nicki took time out of her busy schedule to pay fellow rapper Lil Wayne a visit at the hospital. TMZ is reporting that she visited Lil Wayne at Cedars-Sinai hospital Saturday night after he suffered numerous seizures last week.
Nicki has live "American Idol" taping this Wednesday and Thursday to help judge the top 9 contestants in Los Angeles, but she was spotted by TMZ visiting Lil Wayne in the hospital. She isn't the only celebrity to visit the rapper, as NBA star Chris Paul, Drake, and Birdman have also reportedly been seen visiting Wayne in the hospital.
You can watch the TMZ video below where you can see Nicki enter the hospital with a number of balloons. You can also hear security telling the cameraman to leave because he can get arrested.
According to TMZ, Wayne was hospitalized last Tuesday after suffering multiple seizures then released. The rapper was then admitted back into the hospital Wednesday after being found unconscious on the floor by his bodyguard. Lil Wayne is reportedly currently resting in the hospital.
Nicki Minaj has become one of music's most popular artists. She has also created some buzz after joining "American Idol" as a judge alongside fellow singer Mariah Carey. The two got into a well publicized fight on set of the show, which likely has helped the shows ratings this season.
Anyone who watches "American Idol" can sense the tension between the two singers; however, they haven't had any recent blowups. With plenty of live shows remaining this season, there are a number of opportunities for the singers to get into a confrontation.
