Barack Obama on Jerry Seinfeld's 'Comedians in Cars Getting' Up Close and Personal with POTUS!

Ending the year with a bang, Jerry Seinfeld's last 2015 guest on Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee was President Barack Obama, with the Seinfeld star taking POTUS for a ride in a silver blue 1963 Corvette Stingray. In any case, this is what getting coffee with the President looks like -- if you're the richest comedian in the world, that is.

According to CNN, getting Obama to drive around in a car isn't as easy as it would be with Seinfeld's usual guests: considering this is the most powerful man in the world, always surrounded by a CIA security detail. Things were a little off from the very start: the comedy legend and the U.S. President could only drive around the White House grounds while the President was inside the car.

Afterwards, Seinfeld was invited to see Obama's executive vehicle following his usual protocol of having some coffee with the person he's with. So, what about the POTUS not being a comedian and appearing on this show? The leader of the free world has "gotten off just enough funny lines to qualify for getting on this show," according to Seinfeld.

The interview was pretty candid, with the President speaking about some heavily unimportant things such as the fact that he only uses one brand of underwear ("this is a critical concept," said Obama), how much he loves nachos and could end up with "guacamole coming out of [his] eyeballs" and even that there a "pretty sizable percent" of crazy world leaders out there, saying they're usually just drunk with absolute power, however Emperor Palpatine that might sound.

NPR calls Obama's "visit" Seinfeld's web series "oddly refreshing," as the constant theme was how to handle the sudden change into an extreme position of power.

"Bad stuff, or stupid stuff, is happening constantly, right?" Obama told the comedian. "Every day. So you have to be able to just make fun of a lot of that, like: 'That was even dumber and more annoying than usual.' That's when cursing is really useful."
