Jose Baston, Eva Longoria Wedding Dress Gets Star Designer: BFF Victoria Beckham!

Eva Longoria's 2015 was pretty huge, between her comeback with Telenovela and her engagement to businessman Jose Antonio Baston, and now 2016 means more success and, of course, wedding plans for what will be her third nuptials. Obviously, who else but her BFF, Spice Girl turned fashion designer Victoria Beckham, would design her dress?

An insider has recently told The Sun that Longoria, who has been Posh Spice's best friend for years after they bonded over having a similar sense of humor and their joint love of fashion, has commissioned Beckham to design a gown for her big day, as she becomes Baston's wife.

"Posh is keen to expand the wedding dress side of the business, so it's a dream come true for her to land this gig," said someone close to David Beckham's wife to The Mirror. "Eva's wedding photos will be seen all over the world, so it'll be perfect publicity for Posh."

It's not like she needs it, though. The Victoria Beckham fashion brand made £34.5 million (nearly $51 million) in 2015 alone, as it's turned into one of the most important brands in the United Kingdom.

As for Longoria, this will be her third trip down the aisle after being married to General Hospital actor Tyler Christopher from 2002 and 2004 and to French NBA player Tony Parker from 2007 to 2010, at the peak of her Desperate Housewives fame; she split from Parker after discovering another woman had sent hundreds of texts to her husband.

The divorce was a fairly public affair and in the years following, the actress has been focusing more on her activism, taking strong stances in the subject of immigration and being a vocal supporter of the Democratic Party and Barack Obama's presidency.

Baston only just proposed to Longoria in mid-December, and she made the announcement via social media by sharing a sweet snap of them kissing while she showed off her beautiful engagement ring.
