Donald Trump Releases First TV Ad, Promises to “Cut the Head Off of ISIS & Take Their Oil”
Republican frontrunner Donald Trump has released his first paid television ad, and it's exactly what you probably expected it would be. In the below spot, the GOP presidential candidate keeps up with much of the rhetoric he's spewed in the past; he promotes his now famous wall idea – the one Mexico will pay for – as well as his temporary ban on Muslim immigrants entering the country. With that, he also promises to "cut the head off of ISIS and take their oil."
Before getting into the nitty gritty of the ad, Trump assures everyone via a voiceover that he does indeed approve the message.
And then all hell breaks loose:
At just over 30 seconds, The Donald's ad focuses largely on the controversial comments he's made over the course of his campaign, topics he insists would not have been brought to the public had he not initially said them – things such as the wall he intends to build on the southern border of the United States, the threat from Muslim extremists and the fact that America just isn't great again.
But don't worry, he, as we suspected he would, ends the ad by assuring us all that we will "Make America Great Again."
So, that's good.
As he's grown to become the GOP frontrunner, Trump has apparently made it a point to take on his biggest threat in the Democratic Party, Hillary Clinton. Alongside that "schlonged" comment he made a few weeks ago, Trump's Twitter account appears to be filled with attack-styled tweets at Mrs. Clinton.
So, who is aboard the Trump Train? (Which is apparently a thing that we just learned.)
