Tyga Scandal: Kylie Jenner's Boyfriend Texting Underage Girl
It looks like Tyga has gotten himself into some hot water yet again on Jan. 4 when the 14-year-old girl who was claimed to have sent text messages to the rapper, supposedly leading to his brief split from Kylie Jenner, has spoken out.
Molly O'Malia, a model and aspiring singer, held a press conference Monday along with her lawyer, Gloria Allred, to to set the record straight, pointing out that she is "very upset" after OK! magazine published a story about her, Tyga and Jenner.
She insisted that they never even met and she never gave permission for her texts to be printed.
The teenager said that the 26-year-old rapper first contacted her on Instagram. She said that although she knew who the rapper was, she was surprised that he direct messaged her, but it made her think that he was interested about her music.
O'Malia revealed that she started to feel uneasy when Jenner's boyfriend asked her to FaceTime with him, he asked her three times but the underage girl declined.
The teary-eyed teen said that she doesn’t “want what happened to me, to happen to any other young girls.”
At the press conference, Allred said that O'Malia's mother, Anne, “feels that it is completely inappropriate for an adult male to communicate with her 14-year-old daughter, ask for her phone number and ask when she is coming to L.A,” according to People.
She has now set her Instagram and other social media pages to private, but has more than 45,000 followers on the photo-sharing website.
