The February issue of Parents Magazine is full of big smiles as Kelly Rowland and her son, Titan Jewell graced the cover. Inside the issue, Rowland keeps it real by opening up about motherhood and balancing her busy work and home life. Rowland, who got her start as a founding member of Destiny's Child has recently opened a new chapter of her life as a wife, she is married to her manager Tim Witherspoon, and a mother to 14-month-old son, Titan. Not only is she adjusting to marriage and motherhood, she has a full schedule acting on screen. Rowland has a recurring role on Empire as Luscious Lyon's mother and she is filming her new reality series on BET Chasing Destiny.

In her feature interview for Parents Magazine, Rowland tells all about the best and most challenging parts of motherhood. She explained that Titan has given her so much patience and confidence. "I am much more laid back now. Being a mom just makes me feel whole," said Roland. Check out the video below of Rowland's interview!

Kelly Rowland also spoke about the disappointment of not being able to breastfeed Titan due to her body not producing enough milk. In addition, she opened up about body image and post-baby weight loss, encouraging women to have patience throughout the process and to "Write on your mirror in lipstick: 'I had a baby. I'm a superhero."
