Lamar Odom 2016: Khloe Kardashian’s Ex Photographed After Health Scare

It seems like 2016 is looking brighter for Lamar Odom! Khloe Kardashian's ex has been photographed out in public for the very first time after leaving the hospital. The former NBA star is looking pretty good and it appears as if his life is slowly getting back to normal.

The 36-year-old athlete was seen being driven around in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon. He kept his head down as he sported a somewhat serious expression while riding a car for the afternoon outing.

Odom’s condition improved during the past few weeks, enough to convince the doctors at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles that he is ready to begin a new phase of treatment and recuperation. He will continue to recover in a rehab facility, Kardashian orchestrated the transfer on January 6.

Although he still has a long road ahead of him to be fully back to his old self, Odom is clearly well enough to take small trips like this one, giving hopes to his fans that he's getting better each day after his life-threatening drug overdose.

The troubled athlete was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel back on October 13.

Odom's estranged wife, who has visited him throughout his time in the hospital, recently expressed her pride for how hard Odom is fighting for his health.

“I’m so proud of the strength that he has to fight this battle,” the reality star said at a TCA panel for her new talk show Kocktails with Khloe.

She then thanked everybody's love and concern for her ex and added that Odom is doing really well. Judging from these new pics, Odom is definitely doing a whole lot better.
