As Mstars originally reported, popular rapper Lil Wayne was hospitalized last week after experiencing severe seizures. Rumors had it that Weezy fell into a medically-induced coma and that he was on the verge of death... rumors which ultimately proved false, to the relief of many worried fans. Wayne was released from LA's Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Monday (March 18) and he's currently doing just fine. The online death scare prompted rumors that he "How to Love" crooner overdosed on drugs or Sizzurp, a dangerous concoction made of flavored soda and Codeine syrup. But according to an exclusive MediaTakeOut report, the Young Money mogul was actually POISONED. Apparently, several of Weezy's family members believe that someone messed with the rapper's syrup, which is what made him fall so ill. Do fans believe the seedy claim? Supposedly family and friends are currently "urging" Wayne to prompt an investigation, but the rapper doesn't want law enforcement involved until he does some digging of his own into the allegations.

On Thursday (March 21), MediaTakeOut released an exclusive report claiming that Lil Wayne's latest hospital stint wasn't the result of a drug overdose... he was poisoned.
An alleged Young Money insider (who wishes to remain anonymous) explains, "It wasn't an overdose, there was something in his [syrup]." The insider reveals that Wayne's family members are urging Weezy to get law enforcement to conduct a full investigation into the matter. As of now, the "Lollipop" rapper doesn't want to get the police involved.
This is when the report takes an even weirder, more shocking turn...
Instead of conducting an investigation with authorities, Lil Wayne has hired an independent security firm to look further into the issue. The rapper wants a thorough analysis of everything... including the contents of his stomach... If they find any evidence of poisoning, that's when Wayne will turn things over to the police.
Do fans think this sounds a little too fishy and out-there?
MediaTakeOut claims that family members won't name who they suspect did the poisoning, but that it's a female.
Little other information or details are provided, and few other reputable sources have since followed up on the "poisoned Sizzurp" claims... stay tuned with Mstars for further updates.
The last thing Weezy tweeted was on Tuesday, March 19:
@LilTunechi: "I'm feeling a lot better and again thk u all for ur love and prayers. It was truly felt...pause."
