On Monday night's CONAN¸ David Bowie, who died over the weekend, appeared to be the center of the episode. Host Conan O'Brien shared with viewers some of his favorite moments from the late musician when he appeared on his Late Night program in New York.

After the monologue, O'Brien noted that it was a "very sad day" because of the unfortunate news. He called Bowie "outstanding" and explained that his interactions with him were always filled with nothing but joy.
"He was fun. He was always funny," O'Brien.
He then shared a number of his favorite moments from when the "Space Odyssey" singer came to visit his show:
Towards the end of the program, O'Brien concluded with a throwback video to when Bowie performed a rendition of "Dead Man Walking" on Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
Before the airing of the show, O'Brien took to his official Twitter account to pay respects to Bowie:

David Bowie passed away on Sunday, Jan. 10, at the age of 69 from cancer, just two days after he released what would become his final album, Blackstar.
