'Teen Mom' Maci Bookout Engagement & Family Update: Why Hasn't Boyfriend Taylor Proposed Yet?

Teen Mom star Maci Bookout has a busy life with her two kids and boyfriend Taylor McKinney, which she is juggling along with being on a hit reality series. The MTV star recently talked about the relationship between her son Bentley and newborn Jayde as well as those pesky engagement rumors.

"At this point, [Bentley's] really a huge help. He likes to feed her and help change her and bathe her," the reality mom told People. "He's wonderful. [His help] has been really nice and made the transition into parenting two children much easier. It's awesome to see him so involved and, really, in love with her."

As for her little girl, Maci jokes about her baby fat... literally, "Right now she's trying to crawl. [But] she's chunky - she definitely doesn't miss a meal. So she's in this phase where she wants to crawl so bad, but her belly gets in her way. [Laughs] I'm like, 'Yep, that happens to the best of us, Jayde, you'll get it one day.'"

The one question the Tennessee mom gets asked a lot is when she and Taylor are going to finally walk down the aisle, but it looks like it will definitely be kept a secret.

"I think a lot of the reason really has to do with pressure from everyone to get married," Maci told OK! Magazine about why her love hasn't proposed yet. "I know [Taylor] wants it to be a surprise so with everyone asking about when we're getting married it's taking away from his desire to do it right now."

However, with all that is going on in her life she took the time to reflect on how far she has come since she was a struggling teenager on 16 & Pregnant.

"It's crazy where I am now to where I started," the MTV mom told People. "At this point I'm just trying to take a moment to be proud of myself and really acknowledge that I have worked really hard and I have accomplished a lot of things."
