Sean Stewart stopped by Nik Richie's podcast the other day for a candid talk about his famous father Rod Stewart, his previous bad boy ways and his acting aspirations.
Richie didn't waste any time bringing up Stewarts famous father, asking what life was like with Rod. Although the singer was gone a lot while the reality TV star was growing up, Stewart revealed that he no longer has ill will toward his father for that. He shared that due to personal financial reasons his father had to be out on the road.
Although his father being away had an effect on him, he has moved on from their rocky past and the two are good. Plus, it wasn't like he was a complete absentee father. In fact, a story was told about how Rod actually taught Sean to break into the band's hotel rooms and, well, trash them. He shared the two would push over coaches, cover things in saran wrap and put toothpaste all over.
Not your typical father for sure but that is okay with Sean now.
Other highlights from the podcast included talking about Stewart's previous bad boy ways, his days of partying and how hard it is to ditch that image. It was interesting though, he admitted that people's perception of his wild days is a lot worse than what really happened. He was no saint and certainly caused his share trouble but wasn't quite as bad as the image he had.
The Stewarts and Hamiltons star is also a musician, which was a topic discussed during the podcast. Although Stewart has never pursed music as a career, according to Richie, he is actually very talented. He even has a song out on iTunes called "In Crowd." Despite his musical talent it is the acting bug that has caught the E! star's eye. Although he got sidetracked from pursuing it back in the day, he is now devoted to creating a career for himself.
