Gwen Stefani had so much fun working with her boyfriend Blake Shelton on The Voice that the rockstar is returning to the show's 10th season, but this time as a mentor for the country superstar's team. Stefani and Shelton will be a packaged deal this time around after their time working together as coaches had to come to an end after Season 9.
Even though Christina Aguilera will be taking her red seat back in season 10, the 46-year-old singer could be making an appearance on the NBC singing competition as well!
According to Us Weekly, the 39-year-old country singer proposed that Stefani should mentor his team in the new season so that their time working together doesn’t have to end.
He originally showed his dismay back in December after learning that Aguilera will be resuming her coaching duties. Meaning, Stefani is out. “I don’t [want] Gwen to not be on the show," Shelton told Extra. "Why can't we have a fifth coach."
Fellow coaches Adam Levine and Pharrell Williams also praised Stefani's presence on the show, saying she definitely stood out last season.
"Somehow, when Gwen walks in the room, we all look like we've been wearing the same outfit for 10 years," joked Levine.
Hopefully they will be seeing a lot of L.A.M.B. creator's extravagant fashion choices this season.
Stefani and Shelton began dating in November of last year, shortly after they both divorced their significant others. Since the lovebirds confirmed their relationship, they've been pretty public about their affection for each other.
