As Burnside points out, "The Senators continue to collect points and stave off the collapse most had expected given their injuries. They have only two regulation losses in their past 14 games, including back-to-back wins on the weekend over Buffalo and Winnipeg. That's a pretty good way to hang onto a playoff spot."
