Adele raps Nicki Minaj ‘Monster’ with James Corden on the 'Late Late Show' on CBS! Must See!

Just when you thought you knew everything there was to know about Adele, she shows us her alter ego by turning into a bonafide rap goddess. That's right, during the "Carpool Karaoke" segment of CBS' Late Late Show, she showed James Corden her rap skills by flawlessly executing bars from Nicki Minaj's single, "Monster" with facial expressions to match. During a casual drive around London, the late night show host, James Corden picked up his homegirl, Adele for a little fun singing and dancing around the city. The afternoon started off in laughter as Corden called the 7-week chart topping artist and recited her "Hello" lyrics during the call.

Adele hopped in the Range Rover and showed us her beaming personality by downing a cup of coffee and matter of factly mentioning she got drunk the past three nights in a row. From that point on, the two began singing joking and setting Adele's New Year's Squad Goals resolutions, which of course includes Beyonce.

It's no surprise that the two belted out Adele's smash hits "Hello," "Someone Like You," "All I Ask," "Rolling in the Deep." Corden impressed Adele with his soprano singing skills and hype man impersonation. Before the hype man subject came up, Corden popped the question, "I heard a rumor, which may be surprising to some fans that you are quite the rapper. You can spit some rhymes?"

Adele immediately got into character and performed Nicki Minaj's "Monster" to perfection, mastering the rapper's iconic facial expressions and everything!

After Nicki Minaj caught wind of the performance, she tweeted Adele with her stamp of approval, jokingly calling her "mad ratchet," and reposting the rap on her Instagram.

Adele and Corden ended the nearly 15-minute session bubbling over in laughter. Adele later posted on Facebook that she had a blast doing Carpool Karaoke with her friend of 7 years.
