Last year, cult favorite musical The Rocky Horror Picture Show hit the 40th anniversary landmark and Fox is releasing a made-for-television remake to celebrate. Now, the network has announced they're bringing back the star of the original show and movie: Tim Curry, 1975's Frank-N-Furter, will be part of the new version!

According to Coming Soon, the 69-year-old British actor who originated the role of the "Sweet Transvestite" from Transsexual, Transylvania, has signed up to play a smaller and yet crucial part in the film's remake: the Criminologist.

The role, which was played by Charles Gray in the film, is the omnipresent narrator who recalls the story of the odd events that transpired in the aliens' castle. He's also the one who explains, along with the Transylvanians, how to do their planet's dance: "just a jump to the left/then a step to the right/you bring your knees in tight/put it's the pelvic thrust that really drives you insane."

The Verge reports that besides revisiting one of his most iconic roles, this is a big moment for Curry for a completely different reason: this will be his first live-action appearance after his 2012 stroke. He's been in a wheelchair ever since.

"I am very happy and excited to be a part of this new event," said Curry, whose other acting credits include numerous villain roles like Darkness in Legend and the creepiest clown in cinema history, Stephen King's Pennyworth in It.

There are still a few roles to be announced for the upcoming Rocky Horror remake, but these are the actors confirmed so far: Orange is the New Black actress Laverne Cox will be Frank-N-Furter with Nickelodeon alum Victoria Justice as Janet Weiss, Disney Channel star Ryan McCartan as Brad Majors, Staz Nair as Rocky and Penny Dreadful's Dorian Grey, Reeve Carney, as Riff Raff. Earlier this week, American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert was announced as Eddie, a role originated by Meat Loaf.

There's still no official dates for the TV movie's release.
