Miley Cyrus tweeted a video of herself "twerking" in a unicorn onesie to rapper J'Dash's hit "WOP" on Wednesday (March 20). The clip has since gone viral on the web - and according to the former "Hannah Montana" starlet, she has yet to receive any negative feedback about her booty-popping skills. This is a nice change from all the nasty rumors currently circulating on the web concerning her "faltering" relationship with fiancé, Liam Hemsworth. During a recent interview with popular radio/TV personality Ryan Seacrest, Cyrus doesn't comment on the ongoing break up rumors, but does discuss her love for "twerking" as well as her upcoming collaboration with Snoop Dogg (erm, Snoop LION). Check it out!
Cyrus posted this tweet and bizarre dance video on Wednesday evening:
@MileyCyrus: "CHECK IT#WOP #1Z #UNICORN #TWERK."
Soon after the unicorn onsie "twerking" video went viral, Cyrus tweeted:
@MileyCyrus: "#Mctwerkteam is trending WORLDWIDE =] my night is complete #wop."
During an interview with Ryan Seacrest's popular radio show on Friday, Cyrus admitted:
"I will always be bashed and I will always have haters, [but] I haven't really seen one bad comment about the [twerking] video."
Cyrus described the "twerking" dance style as simply "a lot of booty action." A more thorough Wikipedia description reads:
Twerking is a "dance move that involves a person shaking their hips and bottom in a sexually provocative manner and "to twerk means to dance in a sexually suggestive twisting fashion". While twerking is sexually suggestive, the spirit behind the dance is about "self-expression and empowerment," according to the electronic music site DJZ.
While Cyrus decided to ignore all the drama surrounding her engagement to "Hunger Games" heartthrob Liam Hemsworth, she did offer some exclusive dets on her upcoming album:
“I did a song with Snoop, and it’s coming out very, very soon... I’m so excited!”
Are fans excited, too?
