A$AP Rocky Partners with Guess for New 90s Inspired Original Collection

A$AP Rocky is one of the most fashionable rappers in the music industry. Never scared of taking risks, the New York bred rapper is always ahead of the fashion game. Being a true trendsetter when it comes to blending his favorite designers with street style, every look always works. The 27-year-old rapper is now taking his talents towards the fashion world. It is being reported that "Pretty Flacko" himself just scored a partnership with GUESS.

According to Fashionista, the 27-year-old has partnered with GUESS Originals for their upcoming 2016 launch. Not only is the rapper the face of the brand, he is also designing pieces for the brand. Former CEO and now Chief Creative Officer Paul Marciano is the brains behind the operation. He wants to bring back the image and simplicity of the Guess brand and he feels that "Pretty Flacko" is the right man for the job.

Guess has been around since the 1980s, donning vintage designs including acid-wash looks, mom jeans, button downs and overalls. This is right up the rapper's alley since fashion was always such a huge part of the hip-hop industry. "I think this is dope because hip-hop hasn't seen these color ways and patterns since the early '90s," the rapper tells the site.

The Guess triangle logo will be given the ASAP appeal that will be transformed to GUE$$.

The rapper, whose style never goes unnoticed, also went to the drawing board with creating graphic tanks and long sleeve tops for men with the brand.

For all all fashionistas, we have good news! The collection is set to fully launch only in select U.S Guess locations and on Guess.com on Feb. 15. There will be retail store opening ceremonies in New York, Los Angeles and Tokyo exclusively for menswear on Jan. 30.
