Is Kris Jenner willing to put Keeping Up With The Kardashians on pause for her son, Rob Kardashian's diabetes health? MStars News has learned that Jenner's friends are encouraging her to focus on her son instead of her family's hit reality show.
According to Radar Online, one of Jenner's friends wants the momager of six to pay more attention to Rob than the cameras.
"One of Kris' close friends recently urged her to think about stepping back from it all so she could help Rob," an insider told the site. "Rob is suffering, and his health has only gotten worse since the diabetes was diagnosed."
It's been a crazy year for the Kardashians. Khloe Kardashian's estranged husband, Lamar Odom, was hospitalized for months after he was found unconscious at a Las Vegas brothel. Scott Disick has been estranged from his longtime girlfriend, Kourtney Kardashian, and their three small kids.
Jenner had to deal with her ex-husband's transition to Caitlyn Jenner from Bruce Jenner. Daughter Kim Kardashian West experienced pregnancy complications. Through it all, the Kardashian family kept the cameras rolling.
"Kris's full-time job is being the manager of all six kids, but it's time for her to focus all of that energy on her son," the insider said. "He feels lost and hopeless."
But it seems the matriarch isn't heeding that advice.
"Kris just thinks it wouldn't be the best use of her time because she has already tried to do so much for him," the source said. "From reaching out to mental health professionals, to talking to doctors, hiring chefs. ... She's suggested so much and Rob just shoots it all down. She can't force him to get the help he needs."
As MStars News previously reported, Rob was hospitalized earlier this month with diabetes complications from type 2 diabetes. He was diagnosed with the disease after falling ill one weekend.
MStars News doesn't know what Rob Kardashian is going through but we hope he comes out of it and gets healthy soon.
