Earth's Mightiest Heroes have assembled once more in LEGO Marvel's Avengers videogame. Re-imagined as brick-sized mini-figures, Captain America (played by Chris Evans) and Ant-Man (portrayed by Paul Rudd) are getting their own DLC packs during the official release date.
As we perviously mentioned, around 155 characters were featured in the original game, Lego Marvel Super Heroes. In the Super heroes game, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and Spider-Man were all part of the videogame fun. We could at least expect to see at number,or maybe even double in this sequel. With content from both Avengers films included, gamers will get chance to play as Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, The Vision and Ultron himself.
According to Forbes, game director Arthur Parsons has detailed the new additions, free exclusives for PS4 and PS3. The firs DLC pack will be available during he release date, with another scheduled for Spring.
On January 26, the Captain America: Civil War Character Pack includes 9 new characters from the movie. Captain America, Iron Man (Mark 46 armor), Black Panther, Winter Soldier, Falcon, War Machine, Scarlet Witch, Crossbones and Agent 13 are already in the lineup. We can only speculate there will be new levels or game-play as a bonus.
Later in the Spring, the Ant-Man Character & Level Pack provides 11 characters, include Ant-Man (Scott Lang), Ant-Man (Hank Pym), Ant-Thony (Flying Ant), Cassie Lang, Darren Cross, Scott Lang, Hank Pym, Hope Van Dyne, Luis, The Wasp (Janet Van Dyne), and Yellowjacket. Not only will players have their favorite superheroes, they will have to beat a level based on a section of the blockbuster Marvel film.
Lego Marvel's Avengers will be available on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, Windows PC, PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS on January 26, 2016. These DLC packs will be available as a free download for a limited time.
