Believe it or not there are only two more "Raw" shows until "WrestleMania 29" on April 7 in East Rutherford, NJ. With tonight's episode of "Monday Night Raw," look for the WWE to make strong pushes to fill out the rest of the match card, while continuing buildup for the main event matches already booked. John Cena against The Rock, Alberto Del Rio against Jack Swagger, Undertaker versus C.M. Punk, and Triple H against Brock Lesnar all figure to get more TV time tonight (March 25) to further their feuds heading into WrestleMania.
WWE is already promoting the fact that The Rock will actually be in Philadelphia tonight for "Raw." You may have noticed that The Rock hasn't been on live WWE television for a few weeks due to his busy schedule promoting his new "GI Joe" movie. Look for a lot of build up and possibly a physical altercation tonight between Cena and The Rock.
WWE.com also is putting an emphasis on furthering the Fandango and Chris Jericho feud that just began last week. Expect a match to be put in place either tonight or on "Friday Night Smackdown" between Fandango and Jericho at "WrestleMania 29." WWE also has a poll up asking fans who the better dancer is. Remember Jericho was on season 12 of "Dancing with the Stars."
In other news, according to Wrestling-Edge.com, Mark Henry suffered a leg injury at WWE's live show in Norfolk, VA. Apparently the referee gave backstage officials the "X" sign and pointed to Henry's knee. The match quickly ended with Henry seen limping to the back. It will be interesting to see if Henry is on "Raw" tonight, and if so, will he be wrestling?
The Rock won the "Best Buttkicker" award at Sunday's Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. The Rock tweeted, "We won! Honored to be voted Kid's Choice Awards BEST BUTT KICKER! #BigLove2U #Boots2Butts #KCAS"
According to F4Wonline, WWE may be turning Booker T heel after "WrestleMania 29." The wrestling website is also reporting that Alberto Del Rio may have a big, flashy entrance at "WrestleMania 29" in addition to Jack Swagger making his entrance in a 18-wheeler.
You can watch "Monday Night Raw" tonight at 8pm on USA and check back with Mstarz for a recap on all the action!
