For those fans hoping for a full-blown Spice Girls reunion tour - don't hold your breath. Several reports confirm that Victoria Beckham is giving up singing for good... those "Spice Up Your Life" days are definitely "over" for Posh. Although Beckham loved her 90s days a Spice Girl, she's ready to refocus her full attention on blossoming fashion career and her growing fam with soccer hubby, David Beckham. So what's next for the resurfacing British pop girls group - a reality singing competition to find the perfect Posh replacement for an upcoming reunion tour?
Rumors suggest that the reunited Spice Girls (including original members Melanie "Scary Spice" Brown, Melanie "Sporty Spice" Chisholm, Emma "Baby Spice" Bunton, and Geri "Ginger Spice" Halliwell) are preparing to kick off a reunion tour in Australia sometime next year - but apparently, Victoria Beckham won't be taking part in the performances.
"Victoria has made no secret of the fact her singing days are over, with a hugely successful business and a growing family," the songstress' publicist recently told Gossip Cop. "She loved her time as a Spice Girl... and will always wish the other girls well in whatever they choose to do."
Fans were initially hopeful about a full-out reunion, after all five Spice Girls performed together at the 2012 Summer Olympics...
So where does that leave Posh's fellow Spice Girls? On reality television, apparently.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that the Spice Girls want to hold a reality singing competition show to find Beckham's replacement...
