If you missed last night's "Dancing with the Stars" on ABC, no need to worry, we have your recap right here. Monday night the twelve celebrity contestants and their professional dance partners took on either the Jive, Quickstep, or Jazz (for the first time in "Dancing with the Stars" history). In week two of season 16 all twelve stars still remain in the show, but one pairing will be eliminated after Tuesday night's results show.
The star of the show last night was once again 16-year-old Kendaya Coleman who tore up the dance floor with her partner Val. The youngest contestant ever on "Dancing with the Stars" is also atop the judges leader board right now. The other contestants who were very impressive Monday night were Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough and Olympian Alexandra Raisman and her partner Mark Ballas.
There were also some bad performances highlighted by 56-year-old Olympian Dorothy Hamill. Unfortunately she had a back injury that really made her performance hard to watch. "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Lisa Vanderpump and Wynonna Judd also had very stiff performances that weren't very well received by the judges. D.L. Hughley had by far the worst performance in week one when he received just a combined score of 12 from the judges. This week he fared better, but he and Cheryl Burke still have the lowest point total (28) going into Tuesday night's results show.
The rest of the contestants all fared pretty well and were middle of the pack. I have to give Andy Dick credit. He definitely isn't close to being the best dancer or even the best athlete in the contest, but he used his creativity to put on a very entertaining dance.
The show is combining the teams' point totals from the judges from their first two weeks. So the highest possible score would be a 60 and the lowest would be a 3. Below are the point totals so far. Keep in mind, the viewers got a chance to vote last night to help decide who goes home on Tuesday night's results show.
