Lil' Wayne made his first public appearance since being hospitalized for seizures (and starting a rumor mill about comas and even death) at the Tampa Pro 2013 Skating Competition. The rapper, who also recently released I Am Not A Human Being II, took to Twitter to talk about his appearance.

The rapper- who was hospitalized after suffering multiple seizures on the set of Nicki Minaj's "High School" music video- hasn't exactly kept a low profile since being released from Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles.

He released a video to TMZ to show that he was feeling fine and announce a tour with Atlanta rapper T.I.

He also released a punishing 2 Chainz collaboration called "Rich As F**k", the first single and music video from I Am Not A Human Being II

However, in spite of all this activity, the appearance at Tampa Pro marks the first time that Weezy F. Baby has ventured into public since his hospitalization. The rapper took photos with fans, signed autographs and met with Elissa Steamer (as he mentioned in the tweet), a world-famous female skateboarder.

Wayne, who once famously announced that he was quitting rap in favor of a pro career in skateboarding, has attended the Tampa Pro skateboarding event for the last several years. Here he is taking an unfortunate tumble at last year's event.

Wayne's appearance also provided a clear look at some of his new face tattoos. Check out the freshly inked 17 on his cheek in the photo rundown here.

What do you think? Does Wayne look ok? Will he ever get his pro skateboarding career off the ground?
