'DWTS' Pro Mark Ballas Engaged, Proposes to Girlfriend BC Jean

Mark Ballas might have a pretty extensive resume as the Dancing with the Stars pro has been a professional dancer for years, as well as tried his hand at singing, but now he is about to add the most romantic occupations to his accolades – as he is going to be a husband! That's right, the DWTS pro has just gotten engaged to his girlfriend, BC Jean (Brittany Jean Carlson).

According to E! News, the couple got engaged a while back but somehow managed to keep the news a secret for a while, as it was revealed that Ballas popped the question back in November.

"They have been keeping their exciting news on the down-low as they wanted to celebrate and enjoy the holidays with close friends and family," an insider explained to Us Weekly of the proposal news.

But it doesn't seem like there was any reason for them to keep the proposal a secret, as it was reportedly a gorgeous occasion, as Ballas pulled out all the stops.

"The day before the proposal, I had the house literally turned into Woodstock," Mark explained to Access Hollywood, saying that he decorated the house with "posters of all her favorite bands everywhere."

"I've been on stages my whole life, and when she walked in the room I was like, 'Whoa, here we go,'" Ballas continued, talking about the nerves he got right before he got down on one knee. "We kind of just held each other for a minute, and then I did the drop, I popped the question, she said yes."

In related news, Ballas took to his Instagram account while ringing in the New Year to post his admiration for his girlfriend (secret fiancée at the time), writing, "I love you more & more every day that passes by. You are my Rock & my Queen @bcjean Happy New Year.
