Following two crowd-pleasing weekends on the main stage for the first time at Ultra Music Festival, Dutch DJ Nicky Romero officially releases 'Symphonica.' This highly anticipated progressive house single dropped Monday, March 25th by his label Protocol Records.
24-year-old Romero, who also recently collaborated with fellow Dutch DJ Aviici on one of the biggest dance hits of the year, "I Could be the One," premiered the 'Symphonica' "dance bomb" during his set at Tomorrowland last year. It has been "making waves in the dance music world ever since," states Dancing Astronaut, as "it boasts high definition strings that crescendo into powerful synths and a grinding beat."
Vibe added that the new "uplifting" and "intricate" track displays Nicky's individual talents for musical experimentation as 'Symphonica' offers organic sounds mixed with electric-infused power.
The excited DJ tweeted on Tuesday (the day after the single dropped):
"Wowww within 24 hours 'Symphonica' reached #15 @beatport top 100!"
Fans are just as stoked about the new house track's release, tweeting reactions like:
"I can't stop listening to symphonica by @nickyromero OMG so addictive."
"To do list: 1-Get symphonica. 2-Not give a f**k about the rest. 3-That's all @nickyromero #symphonica #finally #released"
In addition to tweeting about 'Symphonica' dropping and his unforgettable experience in Miami at Ultra this year, Romero also announced that he will be playing another huge upcoming music festival, Sensation, in Amsterdam.
The young DJ has had much success since first entering the EDM scene a few short years ago. He's released tracks on respected labels like Spinnin', Toolroom, Fly Eye and Flamingo records. In addition, he's working with "big shots" like David Guetta, Rihanna, Fedde le Grand, Avicii, and Calvin Harris. Nicky is also a resident at Pacha Ibiza, one of the best clubs in the world, and he headlined all major festivals last year.
