Jay-Z is taking backstage riders to a new level for his upcoming "Legends of The Summer Tour" with Justin Timberlake. According the Sun, the backstage area at every stop will feature a gentleman's club with a personal cigar roller.
Jay met this cigar expert at a friend's private party recently. He had been hired to roll cigars for guests in a smoking room," a source close to the Jigga man camp told the Sun. "They were chatting for ages about the origins of tobacco and all the different types and then Jay-Z offered to have him on board for the tour dates. It goes well with the nature of the tour where there's going to be a lot of whisky and cigars."
The tour comes after the success of their collaborative single "Suit and Tie" off of Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience album. It begins on July 17 in Toronto and ends a month later in Miami.
Jay-Z recently tweeted his enthusiasm over the success of the duo's single.
"JT x 1 million? Getting my "Suit and Tie" ready for the celebration.," Hov wrote.
Timberlake responded "Is that the D'USSE talking? Haha! You're out of your mind, Hov!"
Jay-Z is no stranger to strange tour riders. On his Watch the Throne tour, an unlimited supply of Ace of Spades champagne was required by tourmate Kanye West.
Jay-Z was recently slammed in the press by singer-songwriter Paul Anka. I wanted to put him in on a rap with Michael Jackson in the middle. I called him up, but Jay-Z has totally blown me off. He won't answer my calls, he's inappropriate in his behavior. I love his wife, I think she's great, but Jay-Z wouldn't return the call," Anka said to TMZ.
If he's stressing about the 50's hitmaker's comments, the Jigga man is certainly not showing it.
What do you think of Jay-Z's request? Would you have a cigar roller if you could?
