ABC currently has plans underway for the pilot of Marvel's Most Wanted. Actor Delroy Lindo joins the cast alongside leads Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood in the highly anticipated Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Spinoff.
As we previously mentioned, Marvel TV has officially confirmed that Most Wanted is coming to ABC after being granted a pilot order. Nick Blood will be reprising his role as Lance Hunter, as well as Adrianne Palicki (the twosome share on-again and off-again romance). No word yet on how their characters will jump ship from one show to another.
"We love the script," said Paul Lee, the President of ABC Entertainment Group. "We think it's going to be great. We're doing that in the next few months."
According to TV Line, The Chicago Code actor has joined the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. spinoff, which is currently in the works. The Blood & Oil had landed the comic-book role of Dominic Fortune. Already the most notable change from the comic book medium to the television landscape is Fortune's race; which is a great thing in this critic's opinion.
The character of Dominic Fortune first appeared in Marvel Preview #2, back in the 1975. The installment was by the popular comics legend, Howard Chaykin (Die Hard: Year One). Introduced in the issue, Fortune happens to be an adventure-seeking rogue. A thrill-seeker in his own right, Fortune craved wealth and excitement with his globe-trotting odysseys.
The pilot of Marvel's Most Wanted written by S.H.I.E.L.D. executive producers Jeffrey Bell and Paul Zbyszewski.
While Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is on its mid-season hiatus, the sophomore season of Agent Carter is taking place.
Readers, are you excited to see Delroy Lindo as Dominic Fortune?
