With the royal due date approaching, Kate Middleton seems to be making a lot of plans to prepare. First off, the Duchess of Cambridge is reportedly planning on giving birth at the Londo Wing of St. Mary's Hospital in Paddington, the same place where he husband Prince William was delivered. Princess Diana both of her sons, including Prince Harry here. Also, Kate is supposedly planning a "down-to-Earth" baby shower with her sister, Pippa. Baby showers are usually not part of the royal traditions, so Kate hopes that her grandmother-in-law, Queen Elizabeth II, attends.

According to Emily Venarachellum, a recent patient at St. Mary's Hospital, private rooms have been renovated along with preperations with satellite TV and concierge services for the royal birth. Venarachellum also points out that this hospital has "none of that fluorescent lighting you get elsewhere," which is ideal for photographs.

The doctor in charge of the royal birth will be Dr. Alan Farthing. A friend of the doctor, Nick Ross, describes him as "charming, cool, reliable." Joing this capable doctor will be the Queen's doctor, Dr. Marcus Setchell who has been described as a "lovely old-school gentleman" by a royal source. It looks like this July delivery will go extremely well!

But before she can deliver the baby, Kate wants a baby shower. According to a friend of the royal mum-to-be, Pippa took the reigns on this idea. This is not a tradition for the monarchy, but we all know that Kate is not exactly like the other royals. She does hope that it does not offend the Queen, though.

"While it's all going to be very relaxed and fun, Kate is hoping the queen will drop by because the two are remarkably close." The friend said. "They bonded big time and really enjoy each other's company. Since this is going to be a first for royals, Kate would love the queen to be part of it."

And with Pippa at the healm it is usre to be a great party considering her background in party planning. The source adds: "Pippa is in charge of decorations. Wine and beer will be available - not that Kate will be drinking alcohol, of course. There will certainly be none of the hard stuff."
