Hilary Duff has had a pretty incredible 2015 and with the New Year having just started, it seems that she is keeping up the momentum and not letting the good times go. The star released a new record last year, as well as made her return to TV in the critically acclaimed series Younger, and while she has been doing all that he hasn't let her divorce from Mike Comrie affect her. While she has been pretty quiet about the split, she did open up recently about whether they would ever get back together.
According to Us Weekly, Duff got candid on her relationship with former hubby, Comrie following their split in 2014.
The Younger star appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show where the host asked her to give some details on her life post-Comrie.
When DeGeneres asked about how her relationship with her ex has been, she explained that it is actually good and that their split doesn't affect their co-parenting of their 3-year-old son Luca.
"We have such a great kid. And we're both so obsessed with him," the star told the host.
She even mentions that she still considers him one of her best friends even despite that fact that the divorce proceedings have been held up, as they try to figure out the custody agreement for Luca.
"We are good friends and we laugh a lot," the "Sparks" singer explained, according to Huffington Post. "And we have a great communication and we share pictures when one is not with Luca. He's great, we are great and we keep on trucking."
While there was hope that the two could get back together, it seems that a reconciliation wouldn't happen when Duff realized Comrie wasn't going to change.
"Hilary finally realized Mike wasn't going to change," a source explained, according to International Business Times. "He totally blew it and chose to live life like he was single."
