Stevie J Recalls Being Addicted to Cocaine “Every Day, Every Week”

It's no secret that Stevie J has battled with a drug addiction and is now doing better. During a recent interview with The Rickey Smiley Morning Show, the music producer and reality star opened up about his past addiction to cocaine, revealing how it all started.

"Man, I was at the Trump in New York City. All my buddies use to do it and you know I use to say, I'm cool, you know, I smoke my weed. And it was just like, a plethora of women around and everybody was in it and I was like 'Let me try that.' Tried it once, I woke up the next morning like 'Yo, what happened?'" he admitted.

Stevie J added, "Then it became like once a week, alright, cool, party, then twice a week, alright, three times, four times, everyday, every week...partying with the chicks."

Joseline Hernandez's husband claimed that his drug addiction also made him stop focusing on what really mattered. "After the LA thing I moved back out here to Atlanta, I started to focus more on my children. LA is where it really got bananas though."

Stevie J entered rehab during the last season of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. He has been clean and doing better but does that mean his relationship with his family is better?

When it comes to his marriage, Stevie J claims that he loves her but says that he's taking time and focusing in the studio. "I need to focus on Stevie," he told the radio host. "Stevie was Stevie before Joseline and I need to get back to that music."

There were also rumors that his wife also had her own drug addiction during Love and Hip Hop Atlanta.

Oh, and he even claims he's been going to church. "Without him nothing is possible, I'm not ashamed to say that. A lot of people get caught up in all of this entertainment and don't give God the credit. I give him all the credit."
