Love Story is one of the most beloved romantic movies of all time, introducing the (endlessly cheesy) "love means never having to say I'm sorry" line and making '70s superstars out of Ali MacGraw and Ryan O'Neal. Now, 46 years after the film first premiered, the two actors who gave life to Jenny and Oliver reunite in a Harvard event!

According to CBS Boston, the two actors, both of whom are in their seventies now, speaking on a panel about their long careers in show business in a conversation at Harvard university moderated by Alicia Anstead.

In the original film, O'Neal's character, Oliver, was a Harvard Law School student when he fell in love with MacGraw's Jenny, so it's quite a huge deal to see them both returning to the Ivy League school. MacGraw and O'Neal, who were two of the biggest stars of the '70s decade (MacGraw was even married to Steve McQueen), will be reaching school grounds in a convertible car similar to the one from the film.

The film, a tragic tale, tells the story of rich boy Oliver, who meets Jenny, a girl from the working class. The two fall in love quickly despite their class differences. After he proposes, Oliver's judgmental rich parents cut him off for marrying her because they belong to different classes --- but ultimately, she falls ill and passes away, after teaching him everything about love.

The two actors are currently promoting their new project together: a national tour of Love Letters, a play about a man and a women who speak to each other through writing in letters, notes and the like, as well as the second time in their lives O'Neal and MacGraw star together in something with "Love" on the title.

As The Irish Examiner reports, the play's tour will begin Boston with a one-week engagement at the Citi Schubert Theater.
