Ryan Seacrest, Chris Brown Beef: Seacrest Disses Rihanna's Beau After 'On Air' Interview, Is He Just Bitter After Julianne Hough Breakup?

 Immediately before Ryan Seacrest brought Chris Brown on to his "On Air" radio program, he shared a few choice words about the singer.  Fresh off of his break-up with Julianne Hough, Seacrest threw a little shade on Rihanna's beau.

"He becomes his own worst enemy," the American Idol host and TV producer said.

Seacrest shared his doubts about Brown with his listeners, before allowing Brown on to open up about the 2009 domestic violence incident between himself and girlfriend Rihanna.

"I was going back and forth in my mind whether or not we should do this interview," Seacrest said. "There was a time when we didn't have him on."

Though Seacrest (who just ended a two-year relationship with Dancing With The Stars pro Julianne Hough) had his doubts, Brown delivered a stellar interview where he truly seemed remorseful for what he did to his current girlfriend. He said he was "eternally grateful" that Rihanna allowed him back into her life and was quick to lay the blame on himself.

"It's all about my responsibility and me growing up as a man. So I think now that I'm becoming older, and trying to mature in this life under the public eye at all times, I have to focus on doing the right thing and being more of a humble individual," Brown said during the interview.

"I could put that on my age but that would just be making an excuse, said Brown. "I think for me that at age 18, 19 I was capable of writing and producing songs, so I'm also capable of making the right choices. So I think it's about a learning process now. Being at that young age I can tell you I was arrogant and definitely hotheaded. Everybody has a temper, but for me it was not knowing how to control it when I thought I had the world in my hands."

Seacrest didn't mention his doubts to Brown during the interview.
