Jana Kramer Gives Birth to Daughter Jolie Rae: Country Star's First Child with Michael Caussin

Country singer Jana Kramer welcomed her first child with husband Michael Caussin, a former NFL star, on Sunday in Nashville, Tennessee. The couple named their baby girl Jolie Rae, sharing her first photo on Instagram.

Kramer and Caussin's daughter was born on Sunday at 4:01 PM. She weighed seven pounds and measured 19 1/2 inches.

Kramer told People, "Words can’t even begin to describe how much happiness I’m feeling right now. Holding my healthy and beautiful baby girl in my arms is something that’s truly indescribable." The country star previously showed off her baby bump in Fit Pregnancy, saying that her expanding belly made her feel good. She explained, "I wasn't sure how I'd look as I got bigger, but pregnancy makes me feel so pretty." She adds of her husband, "Michael says he's put on eight pounds of sympathy weight, but I think it's more like ten."

Jana found out she was nominated for female vocalist of the year for the the 2016 ACM Awards a day after welcoming her daughter.

The singer told People, "What a whirlwind of great surprises and wonderful news. I’m overwhelmed with joy after welcoming my beautiful baby girl into the world AND finding out I’ve been nominated for an ACM Award!"

Kramer and Caussin married in May 2015 and announced they were expecting their first child in August.

The 32-year-old singer been married twice previously -- to Michael Gambino in 2004 and to Johnathon Schaech from 2010 to 2011. Kramer was engaged to country singer Brantley Gilbert before they called it quits in 2013.
