'Jessica Jones' Season 2 Spoilers: Rachael Taylor Talks Possible Hellcat Appearance?

The Netflix series Jessica Jones may be about Krysten Ritter's character facing her biggest nemesis and ultimately accepting her destiny to be a crime-fighter in Hell's Kitchen. However, the show also features an unusual sidekick in Trish Walker, who is actually an updated version of the Marvel character Patsy Walker aka Hellcat. Unfortunately, Trish doesn't appear to have any superpowers in the show but actress Rachael Taylor believes the character could eventually turn into Hellcat soon!

Taylor recently spoke to Comic Book Resources, where she explained the relationship between Trish and Jessica.

"I think for Trish, she's kind of stuck in a place of reconciling the fact that she used to be a child star and a celebrity, and was very much used to being in the driver's seat in terms of public persona in terms of being the special one. Then of course, she meets her best friend who is extra, extra special in superhuman ways," Taylor said, adding that Trish decided to take one of Will Simpson's experimental pills to be as strong as Jessica and save her friend for a change.

"I think the gesture of taking the pill was about -- I think for Trish, part of her shadow personality is that there's a certain covetous part of her," she said. "I think she covets some of the things that Jessica has."

In addition to that, Taylor believes her Trish wants to save the world if she had Jessica's powers.

"I do think there's a part of her that would love to make it right in the way that she thinks Jessica could make it right if she was just to overcome her dysfunctions and put down the bottle," she said.

But will the second season of Jessica Jones finally see Trish turning into Hellcat? Taylor admits she wants her character to finally join her best friend in crime-fighting, but wants to wait for the producers' decision before saying anything.

"I mean, I try not to get ahead of myself and think about it too much, because it's easy to get carried away and think about things," she said before finally admitting, "But of course, I mean, it would be amazing!"

Taylor will return as Trish Walker in the second season of Jessica Jones.
