Most of the heroes in DC's Legends of Tomorrow may be the good guys, but that doesn't mean that the villains haven't helped. Wentworth Miller's Leonard Snart has joined Rip Hunter's team together with Dominic Purcell's Mick Rory, and although the pair was one of the most memorable villains in The Flash, they are getting ready to save the world. Or are they?
The behind-the-scenes featurette for the episode Blood Ties shows Miller revealing Captain Cold's true intentions.
"I think Snart is going into it with the most self-centered of intentions," Miller said. "He doesn't particularly care about Savage."
The Prison Break star also revealed that the villain has not turned into a hero just yet.
"He doesn't care about saving the world," Miller said.
So what is Snart planning to do with his new situation? Miller confirms that Captain Cold is still up to no good.
"He's got a shopping list, and he'd like to go through the list and steal a variety of things," he said.
That certainly sounds like the Snart we all know and love to hate, although fans of The Flash haven't been able to know more about the villain. Miller admitted that Legends of Tomorrow will finally offer a glimpse at Snart's backstory in the episode.
"We do get to see a bit more of the Snart family dynamic and find out more about why he is the way that he is," he said.
In the DC comic books, Snart grew up in an abusive home and ended up joining a group of thieves at a young age. When The Flash catches them and sends them to jail, Snart decides that he should get rid of the superhero.
Find out more about Captain Cold when the DC's Legends of Tomorrow episode Blood Ties airs on The CW on February 4.
