During France's 2013 MIPTV on April 8 - 11, a one-hour documentary focusing on Prince William and Kate Middleton's first pregnancy will be touted to buyers. The documentary is titled William, Kate and the Royal Baby and Zodiak Rights, the international division of Zodiak Media, will handle sales. This documentary is expected to coincide with the due date of the prince or princess (still no word?) in July. This special will focus on the worldwide interest in the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge during their pregnancy and what is in store for the future monarch they are about to welcome into their family.
Prince William is set for another television appearance before this documentary comes out. In the second season of the United Kingdom reality show Helicopter Rescue, the Duke of Cambridge will be featured in an episode. William is known for his involvement as a helicopter pilot in the Royal Air Force Search and Rescue service (though earlier this week reports claimed he would be losing his job). According to the BBC, the episode will show William working with his crew and discussing the tension, excitement and everything else that go along with his chosen position in the second season's first episode.
Though, William is probably used to being on television.
Zodiak Rights also brokered sales on a previous doc about the couple entitled William, Kate and 8 Royal Weddings.
According to The Hollywood Reporter:
"As well as pre-sales to France 5, TSR and RTBF, Zodiak Rights also inked deal memos to TLC in the U.S., UKTV in the U.K., Antena 3 in Spain, RTL2 in Germany, VTM in Flemish-speaking Belgium, Nova in the Czech Republic, MTV 3 in Finland, Noga in Israel, Leland in China, NTV Nippon Television in Japan, NBC Universal in Russia, CBC in English-speaking Canada and Radio Canada for the French-speaking territory."
