Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence UPDATE: Actor Dating Model Suki Waterhouse to Make 'Silver Linings Playbook' Co-Star Jealous? Cooper 'Pining For' Starlet's Attention

Following their phenomenal performance in the critically-acclaimed "Silver Linings Playbook," rumors started swirling that co-stars Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence were indeed a real-life couple. Both stars laughed off such ridiculous dating gossip, but that hasn't stopped ongoing speculations that Cooper is definitely pining for the stunning (and much younger) starlet's attention. According to a report in the National Enquirer, the "Hangover" heartthrob is actually dating popular model Suki Waterhouse just to make the 22-year-old "Hunger Games" beauty JEALOUS! Apparently, everyone want's a piece of Hollywood's new hottest commodity (Lawrence), including 38-year-old Cooper...

An alleged inside source for the Enquirer claims, “Jennifer is Hollywood’s hottest actress and everybody wants a piece of her, including Bradley.” The insider continues, “He feels the only way to grab her attention while she’s off filming the ‘Hunger Games’ sequel is to be photographed with an even hotter — and younger — model... He wants Jen to see what she’s missing.”

Sounds a little too far-fetched, especially since both Cooper and Lawrence repeatedly swear that they've never been nothing more than just good friends. During an interview with MTV at the 2013 Oscars last month, the "Best Actress" award winner referred to Cooper as her "brother" - in fact, she enjoys setting him up on dates with other women. Who knows, maybe that's how Cooper and Waterhouse actually hooked up!

And as for Cooper... he continues to laugh-off rumors that his onscreen romance with Lawrence would ever actually evolve into something in real life.

Even so, the Enquirer source insists that although Cooper is currently dating Waterhouse, deep down he's still definitely "pining for" Jen's attention.

Gossip Cop got in touch with another source close to the situation, who claims that such rumors are totally "absurd."

So no, Cooper is not "swooning" 20-year-old model Suki Waterhouse simply to make Lawrence jealous. In fact, she may have been the one to help spark romance between the two!
