Taylor Swift is pulling a Kim Kardashian during her time off. The singer is getting her own mobile game by the same people who created Kardashian's mobile game, Kim Kardashian: Hollywood. The company, Glu Mobile, has announced the game, saying it will be based around Swift's life.
Glu Mobile also says the game, which will be available on Android and iOS devices, will be available by the end of the year. The company is also known for games such as Jason Statham's and Katy Perry's.
Following the announcement, Glu shares went up 29 percent to $2.59 after close on Wednesday. This will be Swift's "first foray into the mobile gaming space" since her "Amex Unstaged: The Taylor Swift Experience" app, according to the mobile gaming company. "Amex Unstaged: The Taylor Swift Experience" won an Emmy last year.
The mobile gaming company says that more details about the singer's new game will be made available soon.
Swift has kept a low profile since her 1989 World Tour ended in December. She made headlines this week when a suspicious-looking man was seen on her property. The man was seen by neighbors wandering around the singer's driveway. Police reportedly showed up, questioned the man, but ultimately did not charge him.
It is unclear if Swift was home at the time of the incident.
Although it appears Swift is taking some much needed time off, it's likely she'll show up at Feb. 15's Grammy Awards.
Swift is nominated for some of the night's top honors, such as: Album of the Year (1989), Best Pop Vocal Album (1989), Record of the Year ("Blank Space"), Song of the Year ("Blank Space"), Best Pop Solo Performance ("Blank Space"), Best Pop Duo/Group Performance ("Bad Blood") and Best Music Video ("Bad Blood").
However, Swift has yet to officially confirm if she will be attending the awards show.
