Gigi Hadid Coached By Top Model Naomi Campbell Before Victoria's Secret Fashon Show Catwalk!

Turns out even supermodels have confidence issues. Model Gigi Hadid turned to none other than Naomi Campbell after being criticized for her catwalk stride by the press. Hadid opened up about the experience in the latest issue of Love Magazine.

Hadid told the outlet she spoke to Campbell, one of the most revered supermodels of all time, in the lead up to her latest run on the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. "I was with Naomi a couple of weeks before the VS show. She said, 'Don't apologize, don't do it. You are perfect the way you are. Everyone said my walk was weird, too," Hadid recounts.

The advice didn't stop there, though. Hadid recalls a time when Campbell had Hadid join her at her hotel and made her walk in front of fellow patrons. "Italian families are coming out to watch and she's like, 'Don't look at them, keep walking, they're your audience.' The elevator would open and the waiter would come out - 'Don't look at him, he's your audience, do a spin and keep going.'"

She says the experience was terrifying, but she learned a lot from it. "I have heard Naomi saying, 'Bitch better have my money after I walked for her.' So it's going to be fine. If people don't like how I walk then they don't have to watch," she says.

Hadid is currently in the news over her relationship with former One Direction singer Zayn Malik. The two had been keeping mum on the status of their relationship, but PEOPLE reports that sneaky reporters got Malik to admit to their relationship on air. During an appearance on Zach Sang and the Gang, the singer discussed his latest single "Pillowtalk" and the video for it, which stars Hadid.

Cohost Jillian Gutowitz asks Malik, "Was it cool to have your girlfriend in your video?" Malik responds that it was, then adds, "That was something different. And yeah, we enjoyed it. It was fun; we had a lot of fun on set."

The host banters back, "No one easier to make out with than your own girlfriend, right?" To which Malik says, "Exactly."
