Cybermen, daleks, London, and ice warriors are awaiting you Whovians in the upcoming second half of the 7th season of BBC's "Doctor Who." This Saturday, Matt Smith returns as the 11th Doctor in "The Bells of St. John" after last being seen in the Christmas special opposite the new companion, Clara Oswin Oswald (Jenna-Louise Coleman). A lot of questions surround Clara and her mysterious origin and ability to keep popping up wherever the Doctor shows up. No wonder he calls her "The Impossible Girl." We have preview clips and even this week's episode's prequel. (SPOILERS to follow)
After Clara perishes in the 19th century, the last episode shows her in modern times walking by her own grave. What is going on? Well apparently the Doctor runs into Clara in tomorrow "The Bells of St. John" and tries to get some answers out of her. The BBC describes the episode as a modern, urban thriller "about something sinister lurking in the Wi-Fi."
Here is trailer for tomorrow's episode of "Doctor Who," "The Bells of St. John," followed by a short prequel by Stephen Moffat:
2013 also marks the 50th anniversary of the first "Doctor Who" episode in November; so executive producer Stephen Moffat is extremely excited for the rest of season 7.
"It's the 50th year of 'Doctor Who' and look what's going on!" Moffat said. "We're up in the sky and under the sea! We're running round the rings of an alien world and then a haunted house. There's new Cybermen, new Ice Warriors and a never before attempted journey to the centre of the TARDIS. And in the finale, the Doctor's greatest secret will at last be revealed! If this wasn't already our most exciting year it would be anyway!"
