The 3^rd seeded Michigan State Spartansare set to take on the 2nd  seeded Duke Blue Devils in a  showdown that serves as a microcosm of college basketball. The two powerhouses (and their legendary coaches Tom Izzo and Mick Krzyzewski) will throw down at Lucas Oil Stadium tonight. The game starts at 9:45 pm EST and will air on CBS. The Spartans destroyed 14^th seed Valparaiso 65-54before winning by a large margin  against 6 seed Memphis in the Round of 32. Duke took down Albany and Creighton on their way to this Sweet 16 matchup.

This match going to be a slugfest and could truthfully go either way. Expect an evenly matched exciting game.

Keys to the Matchup for Michigan State: Shut Down Duke Shooters

Duke has a monstrous game beyond the arc. However, they are going up against one of the toughest D's in the nation in Michigan State. The Spartans rank 17th in the country in opponents' three-point percentage, allowing just 29.7 percent of their opponents' long-range shots to go down this season.

Also known as, what you do anyway. Duke makes up for a passable defense by raining hellfire from downtown. The Devils are going to drain buckets. It's remains to be seen whether Michigan State will have an answer for them. Watch out for the hot hand, particularly if it belongs to forward Ryan Kelly.
