According to Wet Paint, Lil' Scrappy's baby mama has found serenity after telling producers she wouldn't return to the show. "It's been peaceful," she said. "People don't understand -- they just think it's all this glitz and glamour because you're on TV, but there's so much that comes with it."

The first installment of the seven-book series is inspired by Dixon's life as an adolescent .

MStars News previously reported that Dixon decided to quit the VH1 reality show Love and Hip Hop Atlanta to focus on more things in her life. Still going through drama with Scrappy, Dixon claimed the rapper still hasn't paid child support.
"It was never about the money. At one point I was like, 'Get her clothes,' and he said, 'No, I'm not gonna get her clothes to be at your house.; This is so petty!" Dixon previously explained. "We have to do this together and I tried to get him to understand ... I guess he just doesn't see it like that. Right now he feels like I get [Emani] and that's what counts. I know you can do so much more. I don't get a pat on the back for being a mother. If you gonna be [a father], don't be one part-time."
