5 Reasons Why Beyoncé's 'Formation' Stylist Marni Senofonte Is Haute-est Costume Designer!

One of the world's most controversial finder of all things chic and haute couture is Marni Senofonte, stylist to one of the biggest global sensation Beyoncé's new video for single, "Formation." Senofonte is in some way, an influence for the visual of the video and fashion for Queen Bey and her dancers. Here are five reasons why Senofonte's the haute-est fashion and costume designer.

1. Beyoncé's black jacket and harness was designed by DSquared2, as seen during halftime performance at Super Bowl 50. Marni assisted and partially responsible for every aspect of the stars look. She told Essence, "The bodysuit was designed by Ashton Michael and shoes are by Christian Louboutin." She reveals, "I designed the dancers' wardrobe."

2. The fashion savvy stylist has been on hand for Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé's "Feeling Myself" video. In an interview dated May 19, 2015 as Marie Claire reported, the style visionist explained what it was like working with Beyoncé. "The truth of the matter is, it was really last minute. And it was Beyoncé's idea to go to Coachella and to shoot at Coachella. It was so spur of the moment! But that's B, that's her. She's so spontaneous and it's just part of her craft-if she likes it or she wants it she goes for it," Senofonte said.

3. Senofonte decided to go old school when she recognized Alessandro's direction for the Gucci  collection and loved it. "Custom Gucci monogrammed crop tops, leggings, and high-waist booty shorts," as revealed in Vogue, "New is the old," she says.

4. Old school, 90's era is familiar territory for Marni, since she got her start as a stylist almost 19 years ago. Vibe says, "Crediting fellow stylist Misa Hylton-Brim for her start, Marni has evolved into a fashion guru to the stars, dressing everyone from Mary J. Blige and Cassie to Beyoncé and Ciara."
