Jordin Sparks Splits From Sage the Gemini: Break-up Caused by Rapper's Jealousy Issues?

Jordin Sparks has split from her boyfriend, Sage The Gemini, after dating for 10 months. The rapper hinted that the break-up was caused by his jealousy and possessiveness on Instagram. The 26-year-old Grammy nominee has removed all of the 23-year-old's photos from social media.

Sage shared a telling post in December, hinting that he was battling issues with jealousy.

A source confirmed to Us Weekly that Sparks and the rapper have called it quits after 10 months together. Gemini and Sparks were first romantically linked in April 2015 after her split with singer Jason Derulo in September 2014. Derulo told American Idol host Ryan Seacrest in September 2014 during a radio interview that his split was not "amicable" with Sparks. The singer admitted, "I wouldn't say [we're on] good terms... but it's not a bad situation. There's no bad blood. We didn't end off on a weird way or a negative way." Derulo stated they were arguing quite a bit and that there was pressure to get married. He also insisted that cheating was not the cause of their split. Sage and Jordin appeared to be getting serious very quickly, with Sparks telling ET she could see marriage in their future.

The singer said, "It's very early, but I'm not the type of person who stays in a relationship if I can't see it going further than a casual relationship. I could see marriage, but we haven't really planned anything. He does call me his wife, though."

Sparks went on to add that love will find you when you are not looking for it. She told ET, "Sometimes you might feel like you want something right now and it's not the right thing for you and sometimes you probably shouldn't stay in it, but I would say love finds you when you least expect it."
