The Boston Red Sox battle longtime MLB rivals the New York Yankees on Opening Day - Monday, April 1, 2013 - at 1:05 p.m. ET at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, NY. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Monday afternoon baseball game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.

Heading into Opening Day, Bleacher Report sports columnist Joel Reuter predicts the season outlook MLB power rankings. The Red Sox head into the 2013 regular season at the no 19 spot - as Reuter points out, "After freeing up a ton of payroll in their August blockbuster with the Dodgers, the Red Sox filled out their roster this winter with a number of mid-level veteran pieces. Mike Napoli, Shane Victorino, Jonny Gomes and Stephen Drew were all added on the offensive side of things, and if Jacoby Ellsbury can bounce back and Will Middlebrooks can build off of a solid rookie season, they'll have a terrific offense. The pitching staff was the biggest issue last season, with Jon Lester and Clay Buchholz both struggling to pitch up to their abilities atop the staff. Ryan Dempster was added in free agency, and John Lackey is healthy and motivated after missing all of 2012."

The Yanks snag the no 21 overall spot (out of 30 teams). According to Reuter, "No team has been hit harder by injuries this spring than the Yankees, as Mark Teixeira, Alex Rodriguez, Curtis Granderson and Derek Jeter are all expected to open the season on the disabled list. With guys like Brennan Boesch, Travis Hafner, Lyle Overbay and Vernon Wells now counted on to pick up the pieces in the lineup, the Yankees could struggle to score runs to start off the season. They return the same rotation as last season after re-signing Hiroki Kuroda and Andy Pettitte, while the bullpen gets back legendary closer Mariano Rivera after he missed most of 2012 with a torn ACL."

The ball game will be broadcasted live on ESPN, YES, and NESN, but fans can listen in on the radio at 1013 ESPN, WEEI, The Big Jab, CBS, and ESPN NY.
