The death of Kristin Cavallari's brother, Michael Cavallari, was ruled accidental after it was determined he died of hypothermia. The reality star and fashion designer's brother was reportedly bipolar and believed a member of a Mexican gang was after him just before he was found dead in Utah.
TMZ reports Michael's mother Judy told investigators that her son had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and was paranoid, believing a gang member was trying to kill him just before he was reported missing.
Cavallari was reported missing on November 27 after his wrecked car was discovered with the engine still running in Utah.

A police report obtained by TMZ states that when police searched Michael's car, they found a lap top, two cell phones and a golf bag containing $18,000. The cash was believed to be part of the $24,000 he had recently inherited from his grandmother.
Michael Cavallari's naked body was found at the bottom of a steep hillside on December 10. Experts stated he likely suffered from 'paradoxical undressing', which occurs when nerve signals to the brain become scrambled and make the person feel they are hot when they are actually freezing to death.
Cavallari's death was ruled an accident after it was determined he died of hypothermia.
Grand County Sheriff Steven White stated they are awaiting the results of toxicology reports to find out if Michael had drugs in his system.
Kristin shared the sad news of her brother's death, confirming Michael's body had been found in a heartfelt Instagram post.
